Since we are not developing games just syncing them to the Zune we won't use it but it still needs to be installed for any of this to work. In the top left corner, there should be a drop-down box and an icon of a monitor with a Red X in it. Then click the icon with the Red X. The Device Center will open.

If it still doesn't detect the Zune or reports the same error, close Visual C and click the enter center button on the Zune to cancle.
Then disconnect and reconnect the Zune to your Computer. After that, open Visual C and try to deploy the game solution again. Also do this if font errors don't go away after you install the needed fonts. Zune Restarts If you quit out of the game you are playing, the Zune will reboot itself. This looks like a solid thread, but I'm confused by them saying Zune was never supported on Windows 10, because I had it running like a top on Windows 10 from just a year or so ago.

Once this process is finished, you can begin syncing your media to your Zune HD. To select which folders to sync with your Zune device, go to Settings in the Zune software. In Collection , you will see Monitored folders where you can choose which folders to sync. I've only tested adding these apps and games onto a Zune HD.
I don't know if these instructions will work to install the apps and games on non-Zune HD devices. Note: Many of the apps, especially ones that require connecting to an external service like Facebook and Twitter, no longer work because those services' APIs have been changed.
